My career has taken me from the Banking data centres in Nairobi to humanitarian and development operations in Somalia and Afghanistan. Along the way I’ve designed several systems, solved complex operational problems, and helped organizations make better decisions with data.
Today I work at the intersection of enterprise technology, risk management and digital transformation building digital tools that make complex information useful for the people who need it most.
My Journey
Key Roles
I didn’t begin my career in risk management and I dont consider myself a top tier Risk expert.
I started as a software developer and systems engineer, fascinated by how technology could simplify difficult problems. Working in Kenya’s banking sector exposed me to Oracle databases, MSSQL and other enterprise applications, infrastructure and mission-critical systems where reliability wasn’t optional.
Those years taught me precision, accountability and the importance of building technology that people could trust.
