Based in Nairobi / Imara Daima, Kenya. I work at the intersection of enterprise technology, risk management, and digital transformation – supporting due diligence, contractor information, and information risk workflows used by international teams.
Career arc
From banking to UN risk and compliance
I did not start in risk management. I began as a software developer and systems engineer in Kenya’s banking sector, working with Oracle, MSSQL, and mission-critical infrastructure where reliability was non-negotiable. Those years built precision, accountability, and a habit of designing systems people can trust.
That foundation carried into United Nations environments across Somalia and Afghanistan – information management, risk and data workflows, and compliance support for distributed teams. Today the same arc continues in IRM: due diligence, contractor information, and practical tools that turn complex data into decisions.
